We can advise on chlorine free, fully recycled papers, papers from sustainably farmed and waste by-product sources. We also print using vegetable based inks that are not harmful to our environment in a print process that uses the lowest possible amount of alchohol. We also use the most energy efficient printing presses, that also minimise on waste by-products. All waste products that are produced are effectively managed and recycled.
Deepdesign is carbon neutral. All of our emissions (including some indirect emissions) were accounted for the year 2008 in accordance to global standards. All direct operational carbon dioxide emissions produced have been offset through the Welbedacht - Low Income, Energy Efficient Housing & Climate Change - Project. This project supports the installation of solar water heaters, compact fluorescent lighting, a cooking option using LP Gas, solar cookers and/or gelfuel, and electricity generation for households in Welbedacht, KwaZulu-Natal.
